Carpet cleaning Add-on sales, I don’t like that!
Question: Every time I hire a Carpet Cleaning company, all they want to do is keep selling me additional products. I don’t like that!
Answer: Our family has been in the Carpet Cleaning business since 1964 and it is fair to say, that you are correct. The “Bait” is to advertise low prices so that they can get inside of your home and be able to execute the “Switch”.
Bait and Switch is a practice as old as the hills and a lot of service industry businesses do the same thing.
The problem in our cleaning industry is that many companies hire contractors. They pay them a minimum wage and then a commission for extra sales.
Doll Bros does not operate our business based on that model. Our technicians are paid employees and do not earn additional income because there is nothing for us to sell you! Our services are “All Inclusive“
When we arrive at your location our entire focus is on cleaning and getting the best results possible! This is one of many reasons that thousands of our customers admire about Doll Bros.
Low Moisture Carpet Dry Cleaning
Question: What is Low Moisture Carpet Dry Cleaning
Answer: If you have hired a carpet cleaning company in the past, most likely you are familiar with the wet steam cleaning process. The problem with this cleaning method is that most people just don’t like it.
The carpet may take over 12 hours to dry and it smells like a wet cat!
Our entire cleaning process is just the opposite of the wet steam cleaning. We carefully spray a combination of cleaner and a sanitizer on the surface of the carpet pile. Our unique cleaning machines literally drive those two products all the way down to the backing of the carpet.
This way we are able to penetrate through the carpet and dig the dirt up and out. The carpet smells great and can be used immediately and will be totally dry in 2 hours or less.

Question: How do you clean furniture
Answer: We first inspect the material of the furniture to identify the problem areas. The process that we use is a wet cleaning. Our experience proves that this is the most effective way to extract the dirt, body oils, skin flakes and germs from the fabric. Once we complete the cleaning we then deodorize and apply a Scotch-Guard Protector to the fabric. Typically it takes 2 to 4 hours to dry once we have completed the cleaning.
What makes Doll Bros different from the others
Question: What makes Doll Bros different from the others?
Answer: Pride in workmanship. We talk about this everyday before we leave our office. Established in 1964, Doll Bros is a 3 generational family owned & operated business. We don’t use contractors or sub-contractors that is so prevalent in our industry. Those companies are focused on sales first and cleaning as a secondary. Our sole purpose of being in business is to get the results that our customers want. This is reflected in the 100’s of excellent reviews that we receive and the prestigious ratings that we have with the Better Business Bureau, Angies List and Google.
Carpet Dry Cleaning results
Question: Does your Carpet Dry Cleaning results surpass that of the wet steam cleaning process?
Answer: In our belief and based on the thousands of customers that we have, yes it does! Consumers are the best judge of the value that they get from a service. Their testimonials are paramount to a businesses success. We have excellent credentials due to the hundreds of customer reviews from Angies List, the Better Business Bureau and Google that we are extremely proud of.
Our low moisture carpet Dry cleaning process produces the results that you can see immediately. With the wet steam cleaning process you may have to wait 12 hours for the carpet to dry to just to see if it worked or not. We clean over 1000 homes a year and there are probably 10 times that we do refer a customer to wet steam cleaning. In most cases those are bio hazard conditions that we prefer to avoid.
Tile & Grout cleaning by Doll Bros
Question: What is your Tile and Grout Cleaning process
Answer: This is where excellent chemistry (cleaner) meets incredible machinery to remove the ugly dirt in the grout lines. The cleaner and agitation into the grout line creates a “floor of mud”. The removal of that mud is done with a self enclosed pressure washing machine that flushes and extracts the mud up. It is just amazing to see the night and day difference of the before and after. We finish the job by applying a grout sealant into the grout lines. The #1 compliment that we receive – I can’t believe how bright my tile floor is!
Doll Bros Leather Furniture cleaning
Question: What is leather furniture cleaning and why is it important to do
Answer: Let’s put the cleaning aside for a moment. The #1 reason that you want us to clean your leather is that after the cleaning is complete, we then apply the conditioner to the “leather skin”. This is by far the most important thing and most people were never made aware of this when they purchased their leather furniture.
The beauty and longevity of your leather is all about the preservation of the skin. By putting the natural oils back into the skin it makes it supple and prevents the skin from drying. Dry leather skin, means that the skin will crack. When the skin cracks, the paint (color) cracks and when the paint cracks… You no longer have beautiful leather furniture. We then finish the job by applying a leather protection cream. If your leather furniture is over 3 years old, please consider our leather cleaning process.
Doll Bros hires only employees
Question: Are your technicians employees, or do you contract the work out?
Answer: Unlike most Carpet Cleaning companies, our technicians are employees of the Doll Bros company.
Our employees are covered by Workmans Comp insurance, and Liability insurance. These insurances protect both you and us should an accident happen on your property or inside of your home.
These insurances are a big expense for a small business. Companies that hire sub-contractors can and will skirt these expenses.
Why is this important to you?
A great percentage of Carpet Cleaning companies outsource their cleaning jobs to sub-contractors. They pay a low wage to these people but they pay a high commission for extra sales. That is why that when they come into your home they are always trying to sell you extra add-on stuff. At Doll Bros we don’t do that! All of our services are all inclusive and they include all of the extra stuff.
Typically most sub-contractors don’t carry any insurance. What if they break or damage something inside or outside of your home? What if they get injured while on or inside of your property? Is it possible that their accident now becomes your and your homeowners insurance worst nightmare?
Janice and I are homeowners that live in Largo, Fl. We would never hire a company to do work on or inside our home unless they carried the appropriate insurances. When we get estimates from a service company and the price is super cheap and not comparable to other quotes, it is almost a certainty they are cutting corners elsewhere. Buyer Beware!
